Shirt designs based on creative direction to follow apparel trends using the Washington Nationals as the sample team. I was asked to do research on the city and be as local as possible with any verbiage, but staying within the style of the current line. The objective was to produce clean minimalist art with bold colors inspired by classic uniforms.

I chose imagery that I felt was iconic to the history of the area and aligned with the ‘Natitude’ marketing campaign of the team during their postseason run in 2014. I also used variations of the District of Columbia flag because of its recognizable elements and simplicity.
